Bassist and
vocalist
Jim is the newest member of TOPAZ.
He has been playing bass since 1972, in many types of bands. Jim is originally from Vermont and played
the northern New England ski area circuit prior to moving to Wisconsin in 1976. For the next ten years, Jim played
the upper Midwest in top 40, variety and country bands, including a two-year stint in a western swing band. Jim
moved to Orlando in 1987 and, since his arrival here, played in several classic rock and blues bands prior to joining TOPAZ. Jim also plays occasional keyboard and guitar. Because of his diverse
band experiences over the years, Jim enjoys the variety of music TOPAZ offers.
